A superb teak coffee table by Johannes Andersen for C.F.C. Silkebørg. Of any Danish designer, Andersen's concepts are some of the most organic and unique. The pass through shelf on this piece not only gives the table its unique appearance, it also is functional and acts as a storage area for magazines, books or remote controls. The integration of the shelf is very streamlined and simply extends from the bottom of the table naturally. The table is well constructed and the entire sides, legs and banding are all solid teak. The teak has a nice warm patina to it and displays beautifully. This piece would make a wonderful addition to any modern office or living environment.
