DESCRIPTION:
A expandable rectangular rosewood dining table by H.P. Hansen. This piece is very versatile with two Dutch style extraction leaves that pull out to allow eight people to comfortably dine. The composition is quintessential Danish with a simple form highlighted by slightly organic touches. The gently curving profile of the solid rosewood edge banding as well as the Wegner-esque skirt cement this ideal. The massive solid rosewood legs have a unique triangular shape which gives the table a certain lightness. We love how the leaves curve with the end of the table and fit nicely into place once extracted. The rosewood has mellowed slightly and has a uniform grain pattern. This table would make a impressive addition to any modern dining environment.
