DESCRIPTION:
A gorgeous rosewood dining table by Ib Kofod Larsen for Säffle. Kofod Larsen was one of Denmark's leading designers and created pieces in all categories for many companies. Although known best for his seating, his tables were also outstanding designs. This piece is proof of that. There are so many small details that make this piece special. We love the slender tapering legs that give the piece it's elegant and light look and feel. The unique joint which connects the legs to the apron is very nicely executed. The apron meets the leg in two different spots and tapers slightly. The construction and material selection is top notch. The Brazilian rosewood on this piece is very active with tons of unique grain patterns. The legs and parts of the apron are solid and the tabletop is covered in bookmatched veneers. It includes two leaves which allow for ten people to dine comfortably. An elegant and sophisticated addition to any modern dining setting.
