DESCRIPTION:
A gorgeous and rarely seen lounge chair designed by Hans Wegner for Getama Gedsted. The composition of this rare chair is minimalist and linear, yet intriguing. On the rear of the chair, there are three reclining positions that are available via a switch. The hinged back is supported by a simple beam that falls into three slots which determine the angle of support. The proportions of the chair make it ideal for lounging or even curling up in; its quite large. The cushions and fabric are all original, very comfortable and in excellent condition. The ottoman also doubles as a side table. The frame is made of solid oak and is in very good condition with only minor signs of age related wear. The original steel hardware is custom and in excellent condition. An awesome and comfortable lounge chair and ottoman that would be great at your summer house or cottage!
