A gorgeous rosewood and leather easy chair by Finn Juhl for France & Son. The design of this piece is as sleek and sophisticated as the day is was designed. The distinct flared arms as well as the profiled solid rosewood legs provide its visual appeal. True to most of Juhl's designs, the sitting area (borne) is sits atop or is supended by the external frame (bearing). The rosewood has mellowed nicely and provides a perfect contrast to the supple black leather upholstery. The chair is extremely comfortable thanks to the down filled cushions and the unique backrest which reclines slightly.
