DESCRIPTION:
A stuning rocking chair designed by Ole Wanscher for legendary manufacturer, France & Søn. The design of this chair is an extension of a series of easy chairs that included a low back rocker, a low back easy chair and a high back easy chair. The highlight of the design is surely the streamlined runners that are void of any necessary extension past the frame. The seat seems to float in the frame, a technique used widely by Wanscher's contemporary, Finn Juhl. The piece is covered in brand new Kvadrat Hallingdal wool. The teak is gorgeous and has tons of grain pattern throughout. Its super comfortable and would look amazing in virtually any modern setting.
