DESCRIPTION:
A Børge Mogensen oak easy chair designed for Fredericia. This design is very similar in appearance and construction to Mogensen's most famous chair design, the Spanish chair. The differences being the seat material is canvas and not leather. Also, the backrest posts give this chair has a slight "Safari" style to it. The oversized paddle style armrests are great support for your arms when relaxing. The canvas adds a natural feel to the piece. The frame is constructed entirely from massive solid white oak timber and, as with the Spanish chair, has a masculine feel to it. This rarely seen piece would make a great addition to any Mogensen collection or modern setting. .
