DESCRIPTION:
An ash easy chair designed by Hans Wegner for PP Møbler. This is one of Wegner's most beloved designs. Originally designed by legendary cabinet maker Johannes Hansen, it was one of Wegner's earliest designs for the manufacturer. Designed to stow away and hang on the wall, the chair is hinged at the joint of the legs allowing it to fold up neatly. It is a simple composition with the profile being made up of two curving lines; the backrest/front legs and the seat/rear legs. Handles on the front of the seat allow a place for the hands to rest and also help the user out of the chair. The frame is constructed of solid ash which is light in colour and has a simple and clean grain pattern. This chair is a classic and would make a great addition to any modern home or office setting.
