DESCRIPTION:
A rare wingback easy chair by Hans Wegner for AP Stolen. This was a design that was produced in very small numbers and also was drawn in a low back chair and sofa. If you are looking for a unique Danish or Wegner piece, this is it. It has the proportions and comfort of the Papa Bear chair but but with a more masculine feel. We have completely redone the upholstery of this chair but we have recovered it in the original wool! The legs are solid stained oak. As with all of Wegner's designs, this chair is very comfortable! The cushions are down-filled which gives you that "sink-in" feeling. The classic wingback design encloses you in the chair. It has a surprisingly modest footprint but a generous seating area. As with all of Wegner's designs, it looks amazing from all angles and would be a great addition to any modern environment.
