DESCRIPTION:
A rarely seen pair of oak easy chairs by Hans Wegner for AP Stolen. As a designer, Wegner is best known for his external frame wood chair designs but his upholstered pieces, including his famous Papa Bear chair, are no less worthy of praise. This is one of Wegner's more difficult designs to find. It is a very streamlined design because of the single integrated seating area and backrest and lack of a loose cushion. These chairs are all handmade using high quality materials including a solid wood frame, natural cushioning elements and springs for comfort. Additionally we have completely redone the upholstery covering them in gorgeous Kvadrat Divina Melange Danish wool. The solid oak legs are the perfect compliment to the body of the chair and we especially love the angled rear legs. As with all of Wegner's designs, this design looks great from all angles and would suit virtually any modern living environment.
