Also from this designer:
A very rare teak easy chair designed by Jacob Kjær. Kjær was one of Denmark's finest cabinetmakers and was one of the few that both designed and constructed his pieces. This model was shown at the 1955 Copenhagen Cabinetmaker's Guild Exhibition and was made in very small numbers. It has wonderful proportions and is very similar to several Wegner designs in that respect. The external frame is all solid teak and, as would be expected, is expertly joined. We've recovered the seat and back in Kvadrat Remix wool. The slightly curved armrests open up to a very comfortable sitting position. This is a special and rare piece which would fit into many modern surroundings.
