DESCRIPTION:
A Saara Hopea pitcher for Nuutajarvi Notsjo glass works. This iconic design is part of several museum's permanent collections worldwide including the Danish Museum of Modern Art. Hopea was one of several Finnish designers to dramatically change the way glassware was designed and used. Along with Kaj Franck, they wanted to create "everyday objects of more beauty" for all consumers. This pitcher, along with its matching stackable glass (#1718), share the same basic form and are uncluttered and proportionally balanced. Match it with our set of Franck's Facetti glasses to make a wonderful set.
