Jens Quistgaard is known for his many designs for Dansk, most notably his pepper grinders. His candle holders though, are arguably his most sculpural pieces. He considered himself a sculptor first and formost and its easy to see why after seeing this piece. Definitely one of our favorites, the Festival design is a radical form that holds 12 tiny taper candles. Its arms scoop upward from a central cone and also form the base on which it sits. This piece would make a statement on any table or mantle and would be a great addition to any Quistgaard collection.
