DESCRIPTION:
A teak folding stool designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Ludvig Pontoppidan. This rarely seen design is simply brilliant. It's unique construction allows it to be folded up for stowing away in smaller living spaces. Once opened it acts as a perfect footrest when you don't have an ottoman as a permanent fixture. The pieces of the frame are held together with brass hardware allowing for a smooth folding movement. The leather, used to redst your feet on, is a thick piece of leather that is stretched between two memebers of the frame. The frame is constructed entirely of solid teak. This is a unique piece is in all original condition and would be a wonderful addition to your modern setting.
