DESCRIPTION:
A RY100 series shelving and bookcase unit by Hans Wegner for Ry Møbler. This system was very versatile with many configuration options. It even came with murphy style beds as an option. This set includes four side panels which allow for three columns, one drawer cabinet, one sliding door cabinet, one desk module and eight shelves (seven shown). It also has a set of sliding doors and two rear panels which allow for two more "cabinets" higher in the configuration. The construction is all solid wood with gorgeous white oak veneer which has aged beautifully. A nice design element to this series was the polished steel drawer handles which are suspended in front of a recess in the drawer front. The drawers are all solid wood with dove tail joinery. The system would be a great addition to any modern home or office setting.
