DESCRIPTION:
A RY26 sideboard by Hans Wegner for Ry Møbler. This was Wegner's most popular storage unit and would fit with most of his dining designs. It is a simple and straight forward piece but as always has some unique features as only Wegner could employ. In this case we see the brass connectors that hold the door sliders in place. Wegner was not afraid to have elements of the construction visable on his pieces and use them as part of the design. The construction of the piece, is as expected, superb. Solid oak legs and inset door handles, solid oak drawers in the interior and excellent joinery and finishing techniques employed in the frame. This piece would be a great addition to any modern home or office setting.
