A gorgeous armchair by Ole Wanscher for A.J. Iversen. Wanscher’s designs were typically modern renditions of classics. Simplifying designs to the bare minimum was something the Danes became masters of. With this chair we see the wood elements stripped of all decorations or embellishments and only the essentials left to make up the design. The frame is constructed of solid mahogany which is in great vintage condition. The sculpted arm rests feature a wonderful curve to allow for your fingers to comfortably wrap around. The seat and back rest are upholstered in light green wool fabric that contrasts beautifully with the mahogany frame. This classic chair would be a wonderful addition to any interior.
