An exquisite and rarely seen table designed and manufactured by Jacob Kjær. Kjær was one of Denmark's finest cabinetmakers and also designed pieces himself. This quality little table could be used in a variety of different scenarios. It could be a small dining table, a writing table that expands to a small work table, a serving table or a card table. It utilizes custom brass hardware to allow one to rotate the tabletop and then unfold it, which doubles the surface area. The frame is solid teak and expertly joined. The tabletop is covered in gorgeous teak veneer which has a nice even grain pattern. The piece is in excellent condition with very little wear. It would fit well into many different modern settings.
